ABOUT THE PROJECT

KES College is a Higher Education Institution in Cyprus, offering mainly vocational programmes of study in the areas of Beauty Therapy, Culinary Arts, Medical Representatives, Pharmacy Technicians, Business Management, Secretarial Studies, Gardening and Landscaping, Journalism and Public Relations, Logistics, Organic Farming Technicians and Environmental Management Technicians. Established in 1971, KES College is one of the oldest schools of Tertiary Vocational Education in Cyprus. KES College is dedicated to the continuous offering of quality education and training. For five decades its vision has been to provide young people with a study approach orientated towards covering the needs of society and the market, giving them the opportunity of immediate employment.

CARDET is one of the leading research and development centers in the Mediterranean region with global expertise in project design and implementation, capacity building and elearning. CARDET is independently affiliated with universities and institutions from around the world, such as the Yale University, the University of Nicosia and the International Council of Educational Media. CARDET has completed numerous projects relating to the development of capacity building and planning in youth support and empowerment, education and VET, adult learning, literacies, digital tools, eLearning, educational technology, and social integration of marginalised groups.

The CARDET team has successfully participated in more than 200 projects in more than 40 countries, several of which were supported by the European Commission, the United Nations Development Program, Microsoft, The Commonwealth of Learning, international agencies and governments around the world. One of our core-strengths is our ability to carefully plan, implement, execute and evaluate projects in various contexts. The management team is supported by 10 members of the board and advisory board, who are all international veterans in education, business, research, and evaluation.

The University of Patras (UofP) is located in Patras, Achaia Greece and was founded in 1964 and consist of 7 schools and 35 departments. It caters for a large number of sectors and consequently a great range of disciplines through 35 undergraduate and 50 postgraduate study programs. One of its main goals is the creation of new knowledge through the promotion of scientific research.This makes the university particularly active in research and with a high reputation for quality and innovativeness. In the QS World Ranking / Top Universities (2020), UofP is ranked 701-750. Along with its other activities, UofP operates the Foreign Language Teaching Unit and the Educational Center for life-Long Learning. The university runs an undergraduate, graduate and doctoral program in business administration following the latest scientific developments and covers a full range of topics related to business administration in private, public and non profit sector and entrepreneurship.

SERN is the main transnational network in Europe fostering relations in a multilevel perspective between Northern and Southern Europe, in particular between Sweden and Italy. SERN contributes to building a European Union where the citizens are at the centre and to making the EU an area of peace, sustainable development, democracy and participation, solidarity, and social inclusion. SERN wants to increase the quality of life and the opportunities for the citizens in the municipalities and regions belonging to the network.

Legally the network is a non-profit transnational association that has been promoting a collaboration process between Italian and Swedish organizations since 2005. We strategically work on 5 priority areas: learning and education, energy and environment, local and regional development, health and welfare, social inclusion, and migration.

Future In Perspective is a private company based in the border region of Ireland specialising in the areas of education and e-learning, media production, strategic planning and business development and evaluation. Through our work on national and EU funded projects, we have engaged and supported local youth groups, migrant communities, older persons, and individuals who have been absent from education to re-engage with service providers and mainstream education and training offerings. We have expertise in supporting businesses in niche markets such as the creative, cultural and green sectors to develop sustainable business models. In addition, we have collaborated with young people and adults to deliver a range of diverse programmes in the areas of media production and career management – supporting the next generation of creative individuals to build and sustain successful careers in the sector. Future In Perspective is a modern business that is structured to reflect the current business reality. It operates in an ecosystem comprising dynamic partnerships and alliances.

Innovation Training Center (ITC) is a training and consultancy organization based in Palma de Mallorca (ES) who offers a wide range of services regarding innovative materials and services (R+D+I approach) to promote innovation in learning, entrepreneurship and support to start ups with a focus in green economy and service sector.

It is based in PARC BIT (ParcBit, Parc Balear d'innovació tecnològica, www.parcbit.es) a specific park to promote innovation in ICT for companies and SMEs. Its consolidation and experience has allowed them to create a specific R & D department for the development and implementation of Innovation projects. Its interdisciplinary team of experts has participated and managed a wide range of R & D projects and has built an intensive networking experience with various private and public organisations: governmental institutions, technology centres and public research organizations at local, regional, national, European and international level.

ITC counts on a team of middle-aged and also senior workers very motivated and full of innovative and creative ideas that may not only provide good deliverables but also provide their input towards the sustainability and the further exploitation of the project results.
